Summary
New Role – reports to Director of Program Management – Exciting time in global SA Company. Role offers spring board into other leadership roles of the Company
This Project Manager will have a hands on role – looking at operational centers – process relating to opening, moving and closing ( over 130 centers); Transition planning for business/operations changes; process improvement projects as relates to operations overall.
The Project Manager position is responsible for:
Leading key projects through the entire development and execution stage of identified priorities within the Enterprise Program Management department
Leading a cross-functional project team
Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects
Recommending, discontinuing, and reallocating projects and resources
Monitoring and reporting project performance
Providing feedback on project team member performance
Major Responsibilities:
Scope, define, and plan development projects, including all aspects of end to end development activities and inputs from the cross functional team
Manage and ensure adherence to project team budgets, projected financials, schedules, and milestones
Identify and select team members for project success
Plan and conduct business focused project phase reviews with executive management
Ensure efficient and effective meetings and post meeting communications and follow up
Interact with executives to keep them abreast of project status and changes
Escalate project issues when reaching limits as defined in the project plans
Manage activities associated with running the project team, including project planning, scheduling, risk planning, and team meetings
Broker tradeoffs between timing and project cost
Lead project team members to ensure successful completion of deliverables
Position Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
At least 5 years of Project Management experience including sales and marketing experience
Experience with Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook
Experience defining and planning development projects
Experience managing and ensuring adherence to project team budgets, projected financials, schedules, and milestones
Experience planning and conducting business focused project phase reviews
Experience in business planning, marketing, or finance
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated facilitation and project management skills
