The Financial Analyst is responsible for:
Developing spend & saving analysis, cost modeling, and value add reporting
Developing spend analytics and the development of verifiable business cases for cost savings initiatives
Supporting Global Capital planning process, including specifications, justifications/ROI, savings, timing, and post investment reviews
Developing functional budgets/forecasts along with producing variation analysis and scorecard metrics
Major Responsibilities:
Perform financial analysis, including spend analysis to identify opportunities to support category management
Perform cost and savings modeling
Conduct savings calculation and validation
Development of verifiable business cases for cost savings initiatives
Develop and generate value add spend and savings reports
Ensure validity of data, interprets, and communicates analysis to business partners
Support Global capital planning process: specifications, justifications/ROI, savings, timing and post investment reviews
develop functional budget/forecast plans
Monitor & analyze variations to plan in expense, headcount, projects, capital management
Develop and generate financial and capital reporting and analysis
Develop and implement process & systems improvements
Perform ad-hoc analysis
Position Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
At least 4 years of financial analysis experience including financial modeling, business/financial analysis, and reporting
Experience performing cost and savings modeling
Experience conducting savings calculation and validation
Experience with financial and accounting concepts
Experience with financial planning and coordinating processes
Experience conducting financial budgeting and forecasting
Experience indentifying financial opportunities and making recommendations for improvements
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate assessment of business initiatives/projects
Experience with spend analytics and systems
Experience supporting procurement and capital programs
